Everything’s Fine is a new play written and performed by Douglas McGrath and directed by John Lithgow.
Tony and Emmy Award winner John Lithgow returns to the director’s chair for the one-man show from celebrated New Yorker and Saturday Night Live writer Douglas McGrath. This autobiographical play recounts McGrath’s life starting in his teenage years in Texas, most intriguingly, an eighth-grade teacher who would change his life in the most unexpected way. Everything’s Fine is a 90-minute high-wire act of an alternately funny, touching, and shocking memoir for the stage. It is produced by Daryl Roth and Tom Werner.
